On Safari, it's simple. Most likely to Safari > Preferences > Advanced. Check the box at the lower base of the webpage that states "Show Develop menu in menu bar"
Then open a private searching home window. Go to Develop > User Agent > Safari - iOS 10 - iPhone. After this simply navigate to Instagram.com, log in and then click the camera button at the bottom of the display to publish an image from your desktop.
Chrome
In Chrome, go to Instagram.com and log in. Once you are in your account, right-click on any part of the page > Inspect > click the Tablet symbol (top-left).
